| Q: |
What kind of pool cover should I use during the Winter/Fall season? |
| A: |
There are two different kinds of pool covers. There is the solar bubble cover and an auto cover. The solar bubble cover is recommended to prevent water and heat loss. Is it not used to prevent debris from entering the pool. During the winter the solar bubble cover is not recommended unless you are keeping your heater on. The auto cover is used to cover the entire opening of the pool. It prevents any debris from entering the pool, it also keeps heat in. If you have an auto cover on during the raining season, you will have to make sure you have a cover pump to remove the water from the top of the cover. If you do not then it can cause damage to the cover. |

| Q: |
How does one winterize their pool? |
| A: |
There are a few different things you should do to winterize your pool. We recommend getting your filter pulled and cleaned. You should do this at least once a year sometimes twice a year. We also recommend changing the pool clocks to winter hours and possibly running your system at night to avoid damage from freezing. Also, keep the chemicals checked, taking out the tablet floater and switch to liquid or powdered chorine. You should also add winterizing algaecide. Last but not least, we recommend winterizing your solar system. |
